Follow the Science Campaign

Don’t let your guard down! While it may appear that mandates are being lifted, our federal government still hasn’t ended the Emergency Powers Act. Our nation is at a critical crossroads, making it more important than ever for people to follow the science.

Come spread the TRUE Science about the C*VID vaccine at our Children’s Health Defense Follow the Science statewide campaign. We will be distributing flyers (mostly on car windshields unless you prefer to give them out to pedestrians). Following the flyer distribution, most groups will meet up for social time.

Do you have a good quality printer? If so, can you please make 50 to 100 copies of the flyer to help offset our costs? You can find the flyer here: https://childrenshealthdefense.org/wp-content/uploads/FollowTheScience-Vaccines_BW_4.4a.pdf

Please RSVP so we can make arrangements for the social time afterward.

About the Speakers:

Robert W. Sears, MD “Dr. Bob,” as he likes to be called by his little patients, enjoys a very unique approach to pediatrics by providing a combination of alternative and traditional medical care. He has a passion for healthy natural living and incorporates this knowledge into a style of disease treatment and prevention that you won’t find in most doctors’ offices. By limiting antibiotic use, using science-based natural treatment approaches whenever possible, and focusing on good nutrition and immune system health, Dr. Bob takes preventative medicine to a whole new level. As a medical advisor for La Leche League International, he is committed to breastfeeding success for all his patients to help babies get a right start in life.

Dr. Bob has a particular passion for helping parents understand childhood vaccines and the options open to them in choosing the safest possible vaccine schedule for their child. As the solo author of The Vaccine Book: Making the Right Decision for Your Child, his in-depth knowledge of vaccines and the diseases they prevent has helped parents nationwide get a better understanding of this complex and confusing issue.

He is also the author of The Autism Book: What Every Parent Needs to Know About Early Detection, Treatment, Recovery, and Prevention. Dr. Bob is a medical advisor for TACA: Talk About Curing Autism and speaks at TACA conferences around the country to help parents understand autism therapies.

Dr. Cammy Benton After practicing conventional medicine in a group practice, Dr. Benton realized there must be more to medicine as she felt she was just doling out pills for an ill. The list of pills were growing to cover up side effects of other pills. After her first conference for the American Board of Holistic and Integrative Medicine, she decided to go for board certification, which she did successfully in 2013. For her specialty under the holistic umbrella, she decided to take the functional medicine path. Functional medicine searches for the root cause of disease and determines a solution by looking at all the systems in a person using the latest in science.

Dr. Benton also has training in Ayurveda. This practice from India is four thousand years old and is similar to the eastern version of functional medicine.

Jennifer Margulis, PhD is an award-winning science journalist and book author, Fulbright grantee, and sought-after speaker. She is the author of Your Baby Your Way and The Vaccine-Friendly Plan.

A meticulous researcher who’s not afraid to be controversial, she is nationally-known as a science journalist who opens people’s eyes to the realities behind accepted practices in health care and medicine. https://jennifermargulis.net

Kids and COVID: A Q&A for Parents

Wednesday, December 8, 8pm EST

Zoom Webinar Registration

Wonderful. Exciting. Safe and effective.

These are just a few of the descriptions used in a recent Buncombe County Government webinar about the new COVID vaccine for 5- to 11-year-olds. During the hour-long program, health professionals emphasized that giving children the vaccine—now available to kids 5 and older under an emergency use authorization—is the only way that we can all get back to normal. But is there more to know as you make a decision that affects your kid’s health and future?

Will the vaccine actually offer our children and our community greater protection? What kind of data do we have on safety? Do the benefits clearly outweigh the risks? Should you rush out and get the shot right away?

Parents deserve honest answers and science-based facts in order to make an informed decision about giving their child the COVID vaccine. Please join us for a live panel of North Carolina-based medical experts on Wednesday, December 8, at 8 p.m. EST. You’ll hear important—and impartial—information that every parent should know about the COVID-19 vaccine for kids. So you can get your questions answered, the session will wrap up with a Q&A. Questions can be submitted via the Zoom chat or prior to the event by emailing info@healnc.net. Please make your subject header Q&A.

Space is limited! Reserve your seat now at tinyurl.com/HEALNCQandA.

Drew and Lacey are the owners of Schoolhouse Farm and The Schoolhouse Life--a small homestead dedicated to education and community building. They focus on holistic health, regenerative ag and permaculture style gardening. As homestead and health coaches, they are eager to help strengthen community and give people actionable steps toward a more empowered and sustainable future that is less reliant on big systems and more supportive of local economies.

We will discuss some best self-sufficiency practices, share some ways to create more stability in our food systems, and challenge folks to do more to impact change. We will also have time to facilitate q + a so we can all learn more about the Freedom focused families in our area--what businesses, skills, etc, we can use to strengthen our community.

Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. Limited space available! Register ASAP (and only if you really plan to come!)

Location will be emailed to registrants before the event.

UPDATE: Scroll down for links to the livestream replay and PowerPoint presentations of the speakers.

The silence in North Carolina is deafening. The pandemic has stretched on for nearly two years and not once have We The People had the opportunity to express our concerns and thoughts directly to our representatives in the form of public hearings. Science is constantly evolving, but our approach to the pandemic has not; we desperately need to re-evaluate. We have been calling on our legislators to offer a platform for citizens — in particular, scientists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers — to share their insights, opinions, and grievances in regard to the COVID-19 response, but we have been ignored.

On October 30, PAVE and 2 Citizen Moms in conjunction with HEALNC will hold a citizens' summit in lieu of the public hearings that should have taken place at the NC General Assembly.

The summit will give North Carolina doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals an opportunity to testify about such issues as:

  • Disparate treatment of vaccinated and unvaccinated patients
  • Doctors being threatened for “COVID misinformation” and for prescribing Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine
  • Limiting doctors’ treatment options to only CDC protocols
  • The damage caused by Remdesivir and ventilators
  • Vaccine injuries and deaths and lack of reporting to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System)
  • Censorship of information on effective treatment options and vaccine side effects
  • The negative impact of masks on human health
  • Disparate treatment of unvaccinated medical staff
  • Refusal to honor medical and religious exemptions

The summit will also provide an opportunity for those injured by the COVID vaccine and hospital protocols to be heard.
